FILLERS
Voluma®, Restylane®, Restylane Silk®, and Restylane Lyft®
What are dermal fillers?
Often referred to as a “liquid facelift,” fillers reduce wrinkles, fine lines, and deep creases in the face. Fillers are injected under the skin to create a lifting effect without the extensive recovery required of a facelift.
Through normal aging, we lose the fullness of our faces. Usually, the first noticeable sign is a deepening of the nasolabial folds that start at the corner of the nose and end at the corners of the mouth. Injecting a “filler” can soften the look of those lines and restore a more youthful appearance. Although injectables cannot correct excessive skin sagging, they can provide more volume to the hollow contours of the face.
HA fillers are the most popular choice because of their volumizing effect, biocompatibility, and easy correction after treatment. For optimal results, it is best to treat in several different sessions.
Voluma®
Voluma is a revolutionary filler infused under the skin. It brings about volumizing, lifting, and sculpting of the cheeks, cheekbones, and jawline. Voluma® is made of a thick hyaluronic-based gel that allows us to re-fill places where aging has caused flattening. This particular filler is part of the facial fillers made by Allergan, the producers of Botox and Juvederm.
Restylane®
The Restylane® line of products has been formulated to act like your body’s own natural hyaluronic acid, restoring volume to your skin. Restylane® is used specifically to improve the eyelids and increase the size of lips. Results are visible immediately after treatment and for up to six months later.
